History of the Kaaba - Subject
The Kaaba is the qiblah of Muslims during prayer, so it is not permissible for a Muslim to pray without turning towards it, and around it Muslims circumambulate during the Hajj season. The first house set up for the people is that which is blessed in Bakkah and a guidance for the worlds).[1][2]
The honorable Kaaba is completely related to the Sacred House, so they cannot be separated in time or spatially, and when talking about one of them is talking about the other, he said -the Almighty: (God made the righteous, the righteous, the righteous and the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one and the month the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and that God is All-Knowing). [3][2]
Building the Kaaba
Al-Nawawi mentioned in his book “Tahdheeb al-Asmaa wa’l-Sifat” that the Kaaba was built five times; as follows: [4]
The angels built the Kaaba before Adam - peace be upon him -.
The construction of our master Ibrahim - peace be upon him - for the Holy Kaaba.
The construction of the Kaaba by Quraysh during the pre-Islamic era, and the Holy Prophet witnessed that construction.
Building Ibn Al-Zubayr - may God be pleased with them - of the Kaaba.
Al-Hajjaj bin Yusuf Al-Thaqafi building; It is the current building.
And the honorable Kaaba took over after the construction of our master Ibrahim - peace be upon him - the tribe of Jarham, and after that the Quraish took over the affairs of the honorable Kaaba, and Qusai bin Kilab was the first to renew the construction of the Kaaba after our master Ibrahim - peace be upon him -, and he built its roof with dum wood and palm leaves, and after that The Quraish built the Kaaba and the age of the Holy Prophet twenty-five years.[4]
The reason for the construction was the time of Quraish; Raising the door of the Kaaba from what it used to touch the ground. Abu Hudhayfah ibn al-Mughira said: “O my people, raise the door of the Kaaba so that only one can enter it with a ladder, because at that time no one enters it except those you want. [4]
And when Ibn Al -Zubayr wanted to rebuild the Kaaba, he said that he heard Aisha, the mother of the believers, saying: (The Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - said: If only people are a hadith of their covenant with disbelief, and for me from the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one who is the one, And I would have made for it a door through which people enter, and a door through which they exit), [5] After that, the pilgrims rebuilt the Kaaba in the form that exists now. [6]
Kaaba site
The Kaaba is located almost in the middle of the Grand Mosque, and it comes in the form of a large, high square-shaped room, as its height is 14 meters, and the length of its side that contains its door and the opposite side is 12 meters, while the side that contains the gutter and its opposite is 10 meters long. [7]
And this was not during the era of our master Ismail, peace be upon him, so it was without a roof, and it is now with a roof, and its construction was improved after that by those who came after them, and after that Abd al-Muttalib bin Hashim came and made an iron door for it and decorated it with gold.[8]
